Tennis Courts

The Fox Point tennis courts are available for the exclusive use of Fox Point residents and their guests.

Fox Point has three regulation tennis courts and a backboard for residents to enjoy. The tennis court nets go up in early April with an annual Tennis Festival following in May. The Fox Point Tennis Committee host lessons, leagues, and tournaments for residents of all ages throughout the season. Regulations governing the use of the courts are the responsibility of the Tennis Committee.

The tennis courts are for TENNIS ONLY. Biking, rollerblading, skateboarding, hockey, dog walking, etc. are not allowed.

The Fox Point Tennis Committee also has a Lobster Elite Grandslam V Ball Machine available for residents to check out to help improve their game. It offers a wide variety of settings to create customizable drills for the beginner, intermediate and advanced players.

The ball machine is stored at Fox Point Swimming Pool Sign In Window and can be checked out from the lifeguard when the pool is open.

The rules set forth for the tennis courts may be revised at any time to accommodate suggestions from residents. The Tennis Committee is available for any rule clarification.

Ball Machine Rules & Information:

  • Residents must be 16 years of age or older to check out the ball machine.
  • Must leave a “Picture ID” and signature to check out the machine.
  • Residents checking out the machine assume all risks associated with using this machine.
  • Residents must read instructions (attached with the machine) for proper operation.
  • Residents must make sure to plug the machine back in after it is returned to the Pool window.

Court Schedule

Court Time:

Courts are available on a first in line basis and are limited to 1 hour of play if other players are waiting to get on the courts.

Fox Point Tennis lessons and tournaments have a priority for court time.

Men’s Open Play:

From May through September, Saturday morning is set aside for men only.

Restrictions as follows:
East Court, 8 – 9 A.M.
Other 2 courts, 8 – 10 A.M. 

Court Attire

Players are required to wear proper tennis attire to include a shirt and tennis shoes at all times. Only nonskid tennis shoes are allowed on the courts.
